Barcelona coach Hansi Flick praised his team for their fighting spirit in Sunday’s 4-2 La Liga win over Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona started poorly, losing 2-0 to Atletico Madrid, but in the last 20 minutes they fought back with four goals from Ferran Torres twice, Robert Lewandowski and Rafinha to secure a satisfying 4-2 win.

“In just 20 minutes or so we scored four goals against Atletico. It was incredible. I’m delighted for the players, the club and the fans. It was a great day for us.”
The victory moved Barcelona back to the top of the table with 60 points, level with Real Madrid but with a better goal difference.
“We got three very valuable points and we are very happy to be back at the top of the table. It’s a great feeling, but there are still many games left to win the title, as I always say,” Flick concluded.
Barcelona have now benefitt from 15 goals from substitutes in the league this season. With Flick full of praise for the Spaniard’s impact.
“Players who come off the bench always do well; and Ferran is a player who gives 100%. Like all substitutes, and he does it every training session,” Flick added.
“But this is what everyone who isn’t in the starting lineup does. We’ll do our best until the end.”
